Basketball Recap: Alto Piles Up the Points Against Apple Springs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cushing, Alto was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Apple Springs Eagles 51-19. The contest marked the Yellowjackets' most dominant victory of the season.

The win snapped Alto's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-10 record. As for Apple Springs, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cayuga the next time they take the court. Alto will head out to face Cayuga at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday, while Apple Springs will play them later in the day, at 1:15 p.m.
