Basketball Recap: Mohawk Trail Regional Takes a Loss

Mohawk Trail Regional played a tough game on Wednesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Holbrook Bulldogs and fell 63-25. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-5.

Ashya Dingle continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Holbrook, almost dropping a double-double with 25 points and nine steals. Dingle has been hot, having posted four or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Makayla Hopkins, who posted eight points in addition to 15 boards and four steals.

Mohawk Trail Regional's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Holbrook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Mohawk Trail Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holbrook, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 37-24 defeat against Douglas on the 28th.
