It was a good run, but Madison unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 69-49 to the Mission Bay Buccaneers. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 48th).

Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from Caleb Gleason, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds. Eli Stevens was another key player, putting up seven points.

Madison's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7. As for Mission Bay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-6.

Madison will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mira Mesa at 7:30 p.m. Madison is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62 points per game this season. As for Mission Bay, they will head out to square off against Scripps Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mission Bay is facing Scripps Ranch at the right time seeing as Scripps Ranch is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
