Basketball Recap: St. Clair County Takes a Loss

St. Clair County lost against Lincoln last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Clair County Fighting Saints might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-27 to the Lincoln Golden Bears, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Fighting Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Clair County's loss dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-11.

St. Clair County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jacksonville is on a six-game streak of home wins, Lincoln a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
