Flag Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bella Kuhn and Sophie Dunn Lead Corinth Holders to Victory

Corinth Holders owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Monday. They came out on top against the Millbrook Wildcats by a score of 13-0. The win was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won three matchups in a row.

A big part of Corinth Holders' victory came down to the chemistry between Sophie Dunn and her top target Bella Kuhn. Dunn threw for 127 yards and one TD while completing 76.2% of her passes while Kuhn picked up 91 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 91 receiving yards gave Kuhn a new career-high.

Corinth Holders didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Alyssia Thoma and her one interception. Bella Ashley was another major factor on D, picking up five sacks and making six total tackles.

Corinth Holders' win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Millbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Coincidentally, Corinth Holders and Millbrook will both be playing Leesville Road the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Pride at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
