Baseball Recap: Patterson Tigers vs. Central Catholic Raiders
Patterson suffered their biggest loss since February 15th on Monday. They came up short against the Central Catholic Raiders, falling 15-8. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Raiders when the teams met back in February of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Max Medina was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. Medina was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in February of 2024.
In other batting news, Jimmy Chagoya was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Guy Allard also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
