Forrest had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cascade Champions a 1-0 shutout. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Forrest pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Cascade, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
