Baseball Recap: Taconic Hills Titans vs. Catskill Cats
Taconic Hills strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Catskill Cats get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by seven runs or more this season.
Francis Conners-Schmid was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Tristan Super was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Gavin Hartka, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
