Baseball Recap: Black River Extends Winning Streak to Three

Black River lost to Columbia last Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Pirates walked away with a 5-2 win over the Raiders. The victory was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won three matches in a row.

The team relied heavily on Josh Stuart, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Black River is undefeated when Stuart posts two or more runs, but 3-4 otherwise.

Black River's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
