Recap: Monroe County Falcons vs. Todd County Central Rebels
Even though the Todd County Central Rebels scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, the Monroe County Falcons still came out on top. Monroe County managed a 65-60 victory over Todd County Central. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Monroe County also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Todd County Central still got an impressive performance from Jamison Glass, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Glass scored a full 36.7% of Todd County Central's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Hayden Strader, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Monroe County's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Todd County Central, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe County will be home for the holidays to greet Metcalfe County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Todd County Central will take on Jo Byrns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
