 Sadly, Lutheran is still looking for their first win of the season after four  games. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 14-4 walloping at the hands of the Rockford Auburn Knights on Friday.
 For Rockford Auburn's part,  Maylee Baker made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned runs off   four  hits. Baker was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news, Rockford Auburn let  Anna Viel and  Jayden Moss loose on the outfield. Viel  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and a  run, while  Moss  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Eva Ostergard, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Rockford Auburn, their victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 1-1.
 Lutheran didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  5-0  win vs. South Beloit on the 19th. Rockford Auburn has also already played their next matchup,  a  5-3  loss against Stillman Valley on the 16th.
