Soccer Recap: Carroll County Comes Up Short

Carroll County entered their game against Glenvar on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cavaliers came up short against the Highlanders, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Glenvar this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in April.

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-2. As for Glenvar, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Carroll County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Patrick County on the 12th. As for Glenvar, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Alleghany on the 16th.
