Deep Creek won the last time they faced Western Branch and things went their way on Friday too. The Deep Creek Hornets simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Western Branch Bruins 73-28. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Deep Creek's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alaya Monroe, who posted 13 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Monroe a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Kimora Hinton, who scored 14 points and five assists.

Deep Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 44.7 points. As for Western Branch, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.

Deep Creek has already played their next game, a 55-42 win against Nansemond River on the 4th. As for Western Branch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-31 victory against Smithfield on the 3rd.
