Baseball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Henderson County Colonels, falling 10-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since April 10th.

Trace Hardison was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has become a key player for Webster County: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 7-11 otherwise.

Webster County's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Henderson County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.
