Basketball Game Preview: Batesville Pioneers vs. Greene County Tech Golden Eagles

Batesville hasn't had much luck against Greene County Tech recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Batesville Pioneers will square off against the Greene County Tech Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Batesville is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Saturday. They were beaten by Marion 77-49. While losing is never fun, the Pioneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Patriots are ranked 12th).

Meanwhile, Greene County Tech was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 59-53 to Valley View. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Blazers: they've now lost four in a row.
