Volleyball Game Preview: Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks vs. Redwood Giants

Tamalpais is 0-10 against Redwood since August of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Red Tailed Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Giants at 5:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Tamalpais is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past San Marin 3-0.

Tamalpais never let San Marin on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Redwood got the win against San Marin on Friday by a conclusive 3-0.

While Redwood won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-22, 25-20.

Redwood's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Tamalpais, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9.

Tamalpais came up short against Redwood when the teams last played back in September, falling 3-1. Can the Red Tailed Hawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
