D.C. Everest typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Stevens Point proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 72-63 win over the Evergreens. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won five games in a row.

Stevens Point's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sam Kornowski, who shot 73% from the field to rack up 22 points. The dominant performance also gave Kornowski a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (83%). Jackson Bouressa was another key player, going 7-for-10 on his way to 19 points.

Stevens Point's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for D.C. Everest, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-3.
