Basketball Recap: Saxony Lutheran Comes Up Short

Saxony Lutheran is still winless after their matchup against North County on Wednesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Crusaders have suffered since February 1st.

Saxony Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Saxony Lutheran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-44 defeat against Arcadia Valley on the 19th. North County has also already played their next contest (against DeSoto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
