Soccer Game Preview: Crestview vs. Pace

The Crestview Bulldogs will head out on the road to square off against the Pace Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestview has given up an average of 3.7 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Crestview's offense. They lost 6-0 to Niceville on Tuesday. Crestview have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Pace made sure to put some goals up on the board against Milton on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 4-1 victory. Considering Pace have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pace now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Crestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Crestview came out on top in a nail-biter against Pace when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
