Mahomet-Seymour won the last time they faced Mattoon and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-6 victory over the Greenwave. Considering the Bulldogs have won four games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryan Pruitt threw for 211 yards and one TD while completing 72.7% of his passes. Renn VanDeVeer was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards. On the ground, Marco Casillas rushed for 126 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

The win made it two in a row for Mahomet-Seymour and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for Mattoon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
