Basketball Recap: Hannah Menser's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Plainfield over Homestead

After flying high against Perry Meridian on Friday, Plainfield came back down to earth. The Quakers came up short against the Homestead Spartans on Saturday, falling 57-35. The contest marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Plainfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Hannah Menser, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Bryleigh Todd, who had nine points.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Homestead, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Plainfield will challenge Greenwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Homestead, they will square off against Bellmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
