It was a proper cat-fight when Tomball Memorial faced off against Klein Oak on Tuesday. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 4-2. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly two runs.

Tomball Memorial got a great performance from Ethan Tramel as he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.

At the plate, Tomball Memorial's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Barron, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Klein Oak's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11-2. As for Tomball Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 17-15-1.
