Softball Recap: Westbrook Wildcats vs. Aspermont Hornets

Westbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 27-16 to the Aspermont Hornets. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in March of 2022.

Katie Salazar stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Kenlee Gilbreath, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
