Soccer Game Preview: LEE vs. Brandeis

The LEE Volunteers will head out to square off against the Brandeis Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

LEE's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Clark as LEE made off with a 6-0 win. Given the Volunteers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Cougars are ranked 487th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Brandeis sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Johnson on Monday.

The win made it two in a row for LEE and bumps their season record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two contests. As for Brandeis, their record is now 11-2.

LEE came up short against Brandeis in their previous meeting back in January, falling 3-1. Can LEE avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
