Baseball Recap: Good Samaritan HomeSchool Takes a Loss

Good Samaritan HomeSchool entered their matchup against Acadiana Christian on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets fell 5-2 to the Defenders. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lane Bounds, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Bounds is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Brett Boudreaux was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

This is the second loss in a row for Good Samaritan HomeSchool and nudges their season record down to 9-4. As for Acadiana Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for the Defenders, they have already played their next matchup, a 9-4 loss against the Lions on the 15th.
