Softball Recap: Staunton Comes Up Short

Staunton lost against Fort Defiance back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Storm came up short against the Indians, falling 19-0. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Staunton's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Fort Defiance, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Fort Defiance beat Staunton by a score of 16-0 later that day.
