Lafayette Jefferson's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Huntington North Vikings by a score of 6-3. The Bronchos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Lafayette Jefferson's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ben Pickering, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Preston Robertson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Lafayette Jefferson's record now sits at 5-2. As for Huntington North, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Jefferson will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Kokomo at 6:30 p.m. The Bronchos are facing the Wildkats at the right time seeing as the Wildkats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Huntington North, they will head out to take on Peru at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
