Arizona Lutheran Academy stacked a 17th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past St. John Paul II Catholic 57-22 at home. The win was just what Arizona Lutheran Academy needed coming off of a 74-30 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mohave Accelerated had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They escaped with a win against the Lobos by the margin of a single free throw, 49-48. The victory was nothing new for Mohave Accelerated as they're now sitting on three straight.
Mohave Accelerated can attribute much of their success to Bronte Gee, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds, and Megan Jones, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Arizona Lutheran Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Mohave Accelerated, their victory bumped their record up to 22-5.
Everything came up roses for Arizona Lutheran Academy against Mohave Accelerated when the teams last played back in January as the team secured a 49-17 victory.
