Basketball Recap: Devine Takes a Loss

If Devine was riding high fresh off their 81-58 takedown of Uvalde last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Devine Warhorses took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrizo Springs Wildcats on Friday. The Warhorses were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Devine has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season. As for Carrizo Springs, their win bumped their record up to 16-10.

Devine will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasanton at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carrizo Springs, they will take on Somerset at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
