It's playoff time, and Emery had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Manti Templars get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 11-4 victory back in April.

The result came thanks to Hayden Abrams's shutout, as he gave up just four hits.

At the plate, Beau Stilson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Emery was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manti only posted a batting average of .167.

The win made it two in a row for Emery and bumps their season record up to 9-17. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Manti, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

Emery will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Templars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
