Volleyball Game Preview: Organ Mountain Knights vs. Alamogordo Tigers

Organ Mountain is a perfect 10-0 against Alamogordo since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Alamogordo took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Organ Mountain, who comes in off a win.

Organ Mountain extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Alexa Edmonson. The Knights blew past Gadsden 3-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Edmonson, who had 16 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Alamogordo came up short against Centennial on Saturday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-16.

Alamogordo dropped their record down to 7-12 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Organ Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Everything went Organ Mountain's way against Alamogordo in their previous matchup on October 11th, as Organ Mountain made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
