Basketball Game Preview: Mendota Trojans vs. Kewanee Boilermakers

The Mendota Trojans will venture away from home to challenge the Kewanee Boilermakers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mendota will be strutting in after a win while Kewanee will be coming in after a loss.

On Saturday, Mendota didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Oregon, but they still walked away with a 70-64 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Kewanee came up short against Newman Central Catholic on Friday and fell 61-51. The Boilermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kewanee's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Mendota, their win bumped their record up to 19-8.

Mendota skirted past Kewanee 49-47 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mendota since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
