Softball Recap: Sierra Chieftains vs. Caruthers Blue Raiders

While Sierra couldn't quite beat Caruthers on Thursday, the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the 13-point defeat they were dealt last Tuesday. The Sierra Chieftains fell just short of the Caruthers Blue Raiders by a score of 8-6. Sierra has not had much luck with Caruthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Abby Bays led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Valle, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
