St. Thomas More was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Rayne on Thursday. The St. Thomas More Cougars blew past the Rayne Wolves 54-29. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

St. Thomas More was led to victory by Hayden Quinlan and Katecamille Tatman. Quinlan went 5-for-12 on her way to 16 points and seven boards, while Tatman went 7-for-10 en route to 15 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Quinlan a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Laragy, who posted six points.

St. Thomas More is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 34.5% in those games and 23.9% outside of them. As for Rayne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-8.
