Los Fresnos barely beat Harlingen the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons beat the Cardinals on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1. Considering the Falcons have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Los Fresnos' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Harlingen, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Los Fresnos will square off against rival Hanna at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harlingen is set to take on their familiar foe San Benito at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
