Volleyball Preview: Futures Knights vs. Victory Christian Vikings
The Futures Knights will stay at home for another game and welcome the Victory Christian Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Futures will be strutting in after a victory while Victory Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Futures made easy work of Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning and carried off a 3-0 win.
Futures was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 25-17.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Futures to victory, but perhaps none more so than Viktoria Esyutin, who had four aces and two kills. Esyutin is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served four or more in the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Victory Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Forest Lake Christian.
The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-7.
Futures' victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. As for Victory Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
