Basketball Recap: Phil Campbell Takes a Loss

Phil Campbell lost against Russellville back in January of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Phil Campbell Bobcats lost 66-41 to the Russellville Golden Tigers. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Phil Campbell's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Russellville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Phil Campbell will be playing at home against Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Russellville will take on Florence in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Florence's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.
