Baseball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson fell victim to Rosemont and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost nine in a row.

Johnson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Martinson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rosemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.

Johnson will head out to face off against Burbank at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson is facing Burbank at the right time seeing as Burbank is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Rosemont, they will take on Amador at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rosemont will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Amador will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
