Baseball Recap: Destiny Christian Takes a Loss

Destiny Christian was the 10-2 winner over Blackwell when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Destiny Christian Wildcats fell 5-2 to the Blackwell Maroons on Saturday.

Destiny Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi McCutchan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits McCutchan has posted since back in March of 2024.

Destiny Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. Blackwell's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Destiny Christian Wildcats face off against Wellston Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Blackwell, they will square off against Dewey at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
