Basketball Recap: Madison Central Skates Past Berea with Ease

Madison Central won the last time they faced Berea and things went their way on Friday too. The Madison Central Indians claimed a resounding 64-12 victory over the Berea Pirates. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Brittany Campbell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 86% from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023. Taleah Haslon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Madison Central, bringing their record for this year to 26-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. As for Berea, their loss dropped their record down to 12-15.
