Nolan Catholic came out on top against Parish Episcopal on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Vikings' pitchers stepped up to hand the Panthers a 15-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Trinity Christian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Parish Episcopal last Friday. The Trojans blew past the Panthers 15-5. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Trinity Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Nolan Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Nolan Catholic skirted past Trinity Christian 3-2 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
