Softball Recap: Girard Comes Up Short

Girard came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Jamestown Muskies, falling 13-0.

Girard has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Jamestown, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Girard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jamestown, they will challenge Sharon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Muskies surely won't give up without a fight.
