Baseball Recap: Argyle Takes a Loss

Argyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 5-2 to the North Warren Central Cougars. If the Scots were looking for revenge after losing 8-1 to the Cougars when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Argyle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for North Warren Central, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5-1 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Argyle will challenge rival Warrensburg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, North Warren Central is set to face off against their familiar foe Whitehall at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
