Baseball Recap: Nacogdoches Takes a Loss

Nacogdoches lost against Whitehouse back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dragons took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jayden Ard was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Josh Morones, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Nacogdoches' defeat dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Whitehouse, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-5.

Coincidentally, Nacogdoches and Whitehouse will both be playing Tyler the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dragons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
