Football Recap: Fivay Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Fivay's offense. They took a blow against the Gulf Buccaneers on Tuesday, falling 47-0.

Fivay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Gulf, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

After each having a week off, Fivay and Mitchell will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field one another at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Fivay hasn't scored more than 12 points for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse. Gulf will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Angeline Academy of Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Gulf 2.2, Angeline Academy of Innovation 12) so any points scored will be well earned.
