Basketball Game Preview: Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers vs. Lake Taylor Titans

Booker T. Washington is 1-9 against Lake Taylor since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers will head out on the road to face off against the Lake Taylor Titans at 5:30 p.m.

Booker T. Washington is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They took a blow against Maury, falling 90-6. While losing is never fun, the Mighty Bookers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 288th, while the Commodores are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Lake Taylor entered their tilt with Woodside on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They secured a 48-42 W over the Wolverines.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lake Taylor, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
