For the second straight game, Troy will face off against Tippecanoe. The Trojans will host the Red Devils at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Troy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

Troy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Tippecanoe just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils.

Alexis Ater was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Maddie Wright, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Tippecanoe's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Troy, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-4.
