After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cromwell, North Branford was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Old Lyme Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Thunderbirds, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

North Branford's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Old Lyme, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
