Volleyball Recap: Social Circle Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Social Circle, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Commerce Tigers on Thursday.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 26-24.

Social Circle's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Commerce, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Social Circle and Commerce will both be playing Scholars Guild Academy the next time they take the court. The Redskins will host the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
