Basketball Recap: East Takes a Loss

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Chaney Cowboys 83-53. East was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-26.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Chaney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, East will head out to face off against Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chaney, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harding at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Chaney has won four straight at home, while Harding won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
